The reason Disklavier Control boxes are different for each model, among 
other things, is that the boards they connect to are in different places. 
Also, the logic that programs each model is different.  That is why it would 
be a stunning occurence if the DKC55RCD ( a box for the MarkIII Disklavier) 
worked on a MarkII XG Disklavier.

I believe the DKC55RCD has an R and L Audio/Analog port to the right of the 
CD Control plug.  The din connector, I thought, goes from that CD Control to 
a place in the audio amplifier - a box that comes with a MarkIII.  That is 
why I thought you might be able to just bypass the CD Control and connect 
the R and L audio ports to a powered speaker.

The DU1A is an E3 Disklavier, which is different than a MarkIII Disklavier. 
The logic is different.
