Taping over the extra hole
and reformatting as a 720K does work. Unless you have an older disklavier
that doesn't read 1.44 diskettes, you only need a single disk for a very short
period of time. After completing the dkvcopy, you are then able to archive
the files on the copy to the hard drive and copy them to a 1.44MB for
playback. ; I have one disk I just reuse over and over. Since it
is only temporary storage, you needn't worry about stability
issues.
