Hmm, thanks for the confirmation. Odd that the database seems to have it written the other way. Anyway. This confirms that I *have* found the database on the E3/DKC-850, and, furthermore, it tells me a whole lot about what DKVBrowser needs to do (try to do...). They are using a different database technology (a much simpler one), and it looks like there's *very* little that the user can do? I don't see any information like a "comments" field, or the number of times each song has been played, etc. ? I'm not familiar enough with the E3/DKC-850 so I'm going to have a lot of questions (maybe I should find the owners manual online and read through it). My next step involves a bit more research, and then I may need someone to do some packet sniffing. But soon after that I'm going to build a test version of DKVBrowser that will attempt a bunch of different things to see if I can proceed. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up too high. From what I see now, there is one major/obvious thing that they could be doing that would make my next step VERY difficult...but they also neglected to do some pretty trivial things that would let me get this far, so my fingers are crossed that they also missed the next obvious one. -Kevin ________________________________ From: Peter Giles <pgiles@...> To: "disklavier@YahooGroups.com" <disklavier@...> Sent: Wed, March 16, 2011 2:12:03 AM Subject: [disklavier] <no subject> Kevin, You are correct on everything, except that the name of the Phantom album is "Phantom of the Opera – Selections."
