After about 4 days of solid work (so much for vacation this week!), I've figured out the "encrypted" handshake between the DKC-850/E3 and the iPhone. I also have a pretty good sense of how the iPhone talks to the "database" on the piano. You can't believe have pleased I am, and how frustrated I have been over the passed few days. Oh, and today's my birthday. Not a bad present to myself. ;-) Major thanks to Stefan for showing me what it was supposed to look like. I spent the majority of the day trying to make sense of what he showed me, and I finally was able to reproduce the "answer" from the "question." Now, off to make DKVBrowser actually send the right response. -Kevin
