i don't know of any sequencers that do bulk file processing other
than using cakewalk with a CAL script. i have a program called remap
channels on the download page of my web site. it can be used to move
data on any chosen channel to another channel. it works from text
strings of the channel mapping you want. once you write a string you
can save it for future use with the remap program. if you want to
change everything on all channels to channel 1 for example you would
write the following 2,1 3,1 4,1 ...... 127,1 there is also a doc on
using spencers utilities on the same page. be warned that strange
things can happen with merged events that might not be what you had
in mind. there are advantages of bulk processing but also some
unintended results with files that are different from what you might
expect. http://www.spencerserolls.com/Files4Download.html
if you need more information or different features in the program
let me know. lots of other useful programs for anyone messing around
with MIDI files.

Anyone know of a good midi sequencer that will convert
several midi files to one channel at the same time? I have
tried a few programs that work great for sequencing one
song at a time, but I would like to open a whole folder of
songs and convert them all to one channel.
Thanks
