The current drive supplied by Yamaha is a newer version of the one you have, but it will perform exactly the same as your current one - unless your current one has problems.

To bring your piano up to a similar specification as the current E3 series (inc. USB ports, CD drive, internet/network connectivity and iPhone/iPod/iPad compatibility), you could replace your existing DKC controller with the DKC850. This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
