I have written my own song with lyrics. I am not a very good pianist. I am trying to transfer the recorded song from my MarkIII DC3A Disklavier to a computer program so I can edit my mistakes, print sheet music and then copyright/register the song. I have a Yamaha UX16 MIDI to USB adapter so I can connect my piano to my laptop. I have moderate computer skills. I just do not know what program I should use to edit the MIDI file. I was looking at programs called 'ANVIL Studio' and Magicscore Maestro7, but it is difficult to know what is a good program if one can barely read music. I need something that is 'user friendly' that can edit the mistakes I make while recording my song. Then the program has to produce and print the sheet music, etc. Any advice or suggestions would be very welcome.
