Disklavier

Actually, the bit about the iPhone doesn't really prove much at all.  The MarkIV has two network connections.  The wireless one is the one that the PRC-100 uses.  The "wired" network is the one that must be connected to use Disklavier Radio, the IPhone App, the virtual PRC, etc.  As it turns out, many people connect this to a wireless access point which only succeeds in discussing the "wireless" network connection of the piano that much more confusing.

That being said, there is one thing you can do to see if your PRC is the problem, or the Disklavier is the problem (both sides of this wireless network use a CF card to supply the wireless interface).

1) On any computer that is somewhat close to your piano...have it search for wireless networks.  It should absolutely find one called DKV{something or other}.  Like DKV534ABC.  If it sees that you can be fairly certain that the piano side of the network is just fine.  If not, it's a pretty big clue the piano side of the network is faulty.

2) If you leave your computer's wireless interface actually connected to the piano's wireless network (it won't have internet access, or much access at all), you can launch DKVBrowser and configure it to actually connect to the piano's wireless interface IP address.  In effect, you will be using DKVBrowser as a wireless PRC, forcing it to use that network instead of the one it normally uses (the one that leads to the wired connection of the piano).  That should absolute work if the first step worked...and it would prove that your PRC is faulty (or the CF card in it).

Sorry, I didn't see your bit about the iPhone. There are no settings on the PRC-100 which would affect it's connection to the piano. You can try setting the piano to a different WiFi channel. Yamaha should be able to tell you how to do it.
