Try the WiFi card from the PRC-100 in the piano and see if you can detect it as a network. If you can't, unusual as it is, chances are that you need a new motherboard. As the motherboard is ancient and even Yamaha haven't got proper circuit diagrams or parts, it will have to be a replacement circuit board.
I have been wondering if some PC geek could find a replacement, up-to-date PC motherboard? After all, the I/O Centre is just a standard (if slow and out-dated) PC running LINUX. As long as the new board has on-board video, the right connections and fits in the case, you probably bring the piano right up to date (and being LINUX, probably add extra RAM, etc and make it a lot more powerful)

I was mistakenly thinking that since my Iphone was working that the problem must be with the PRC-100. But I forgot that I actually access that through a separate wireless connection (Apple Airport Express).

It looks like there is a slot for a PC card but there is nothing in it. I assume there is not supposed to be anything in there but maybe there is.

>> Actually, the bit about the iPhone doesn't really prove much at all. ÃÂ The MarkIV has two network connections. ÃÂ The wireless one is the one that the PRC-100 uses. ÃÂ The "wired" network is the one that must be connected to use Disklavier Radio, the IPhone App, the virtual PRC, etc. ÃÂ As it turns out, many people connect this to a wireless access point which only succeeds in discussing the "wireless" network connection of the piano that much more confusing.

ÃÂ If it sees that you can be fairly certain that the piano side of the network is just fine. ÃÂ If not, it's a pretty big clue the piano side of the network is faulty.

>> 2) If you leave your computer's wireless interface actually connected to the piano's wireless network (it won't have internet access, or much access at all), you can launch DKVBrowser and configure it to actually connect to the piano's wireless interface IP address. ÃÂ In effect, you will be using DKVBrowser as a wireless PRC, forcing it to use that network instead of the one it normally uses (the one that leads to the wired connection of the piano). ÃÂ That should absolute work if the first step worked...and it would prove that your PRC is faulty (or the CF card in it). ÃÂ
