I desperately need a CPU for this piano and Yamaha no longer offer this part. Any help would be appreciated as I can't get anyone in the UK to fix it. Thanks, Peter.

Did I miss something here? Why do you think you need a CPU? The unit is about 30 years old. Carol Beigel

The MX100A board will work. Take the two ROMs from the MX100B board and put them in the MX100A board (the ROMs typically have no problems when the board dies.) Bill Sent from my iPhone. A bit off subject, but since you guys are obviously in the know, can the MX100A be upgraded to use the dkc850? Edward Sent from my iPhone

Yes it can IF it has a working floppy disk drive. However, since the DKC-850 must be used as an add-on unit (instead of actually replacing the existing control unit) it cannot receive Disklavier Radio. Bill Brandom Sent from my iPhone. Oh goodie! Bill always has the answers. Looks like my old dog still has legs. My wife will be happy when I move it out of the living room as she finds it to be redundant sitting across from the DC6M4P. The nerve! The 100A will be nice at my new office.... Thanks Mr B Sent from my iPhone
