I used the ios app "Disklavier controller" as it is more responsive than the pocket pda.

However it does not have the full features. E.g., there is no "record with audio" menu to record bother the keyboard playing and the microphone singing? Do I miss something?

Kevin, the iOS controller for the Mark IV does not have a lot of the features of the PRC-100.

I have a Yamaha Grand piano which has a Diskklavier DKC 850 and Silent Contriol unit. They replaced an older version and were installed by John Miladelaroca, with whom I have lost contact. Is there anyone out there who lives near Palm Desert, CA who would be willing to help me learn how to use the darn thing. My primary desire is to be able to add a bass and drums as backup while I play….mostly standards and jazz. I have no technical skills and don't understand manuals. I just want to play and enjoy.
