Disklavier Floppy drive to USB Upgrade

HI There, I have a C7 Disklavier with two modules DSR1 and a DKC100R. Both of them lack a USB drive and to avoid all the problems faced by copying files to floppy etc I wanted to know if there is a way to swap the floppy drive to USB or install a separate USB drive to either. There seems to be very little info available on the web. All suggestions are welcomed...

The only way I know is to replace the DSR1 with the new DKC-850 Disklavier Control Unit. Which will add the USB, Ethernet & CD capabilities among other features. This unit may be able to replace your original control unit in some cases.

The only way I know of is to replace the DSR1 and upgrade to the new DKC-850 Disklavier Control Unit. It adds many new features including, USB, internet & CD capabilities and a may even be able to replace your original control unit. If so, that would allow you Disklavier TV & Disklavier Radio capabilities depending on how it is hooked up. Check with your Yamaha dealer for more info.
