replace the electrolytics first. these are the ones that fail. my favorite simple PS fix was a couple of Mac computers that were known for failing after just 3 or 4 years. Apple's "fix" was to replace the motherboard at great cost. the problem turned out to be some no name capacitors on the motherboard that were just filter caps for the power supply. cost about $5 instead of $500. at the cost of a Mac, they should have used tantalum caps, not nameless (probably Chinese) garbage. and their voltage rating was only about 10% over working voltage.
if you have room for higher voltage caps might as well use them.

Mine has begun to blow the 7A fast blow fuse again, So I’m gonna replace the Capacitors in the power supply as a starting point. If you have a schematic with accurate test voltages that would be much appreciated.

Albert,
I will try to send you a link to the manual and schematics (I believe they are in there.) I am presently in Cuba but should be able to make the link for you.
I will send the link to your email address, not the group.

power supplies are not terribly difficult to repair if you can get a schematic. does Yamaha provide them, my guess is that they do not and consider it inside information.
if it is a simple supply without complex regulation circuitry, you can often get them working by just replacing the electrolytic capacitors. these are usually the first parts to go especially in supplies that do run warm for many years.

I believe others here have been able to have their DKV power supply repaired by an electronics repair technician. While finding the right person may be a bit of a challenge, especially these days, it may be cost-effective option to explore. You may be able to pick up a good 'lead' from your local music store given that they often need to accommodate customer repairs for amplifiers and other electronic music gear.
