DKC 850 maintenance

Hi all, I’ve noticed that on some disklaviers that update to the DKC 850, I can not perform calibration. When I try to enter the service mode, I get either a blankish screen or I am just able to test the piano. I know that for certain upgrades, I have to perform calibration as if I was pressing the buttons on the original system. Is what I have to do all the time? Am I missing something here? Thanks! Michael
