if a large enough number of people is interested i will make the zip making sure i have the latest versions of the programs and that the documentation matches them.

the method can be tested by downloading the "keyword tools" and also the keyword to excel program from the download page of my web site. The keyword lister will only list keyworded text events which follow the format name: value. this is explained in the doc included withe the keywords tools zip. it also list track names which are the most common way people add meta data. there are too many other ways to add meta data so i only bother with these two to avoid overload of information. i can modify the program if anyone has a favorite text type they would like to add to the list.

the current version of the programs default to the working folder which is convenient. i believe that the versions on the web site use a default folder which can be created and used or it can be changed each time the program is run. to update this zip with the current version and make sure the documentation is correct will be a little work which i will only do if there is enough interest.

the keyword to excel program is about half way down the page and the MIDI keyword tools zip is near the end. if you use any of the programs on this site, i recommend getting the latest versions from me if you are really going to use them a lot. i have mad improvements but they are not necessarily docemented.
