Yahoo groups changing

Hello friends, I am a member of some other forum groups that uses Yahoo groups. They too shared the same concern regarding the new policy with Yahoo. Someone mentioned about groups.io which is similar and even better than Yahoo groups. AFAIK, I think it was created by some team members of Yahoo groups.
