Need Recommendations for USB Wi-Fi Dongle

Need Recommendations for USB Wi-Fi Dongle

2019-10-19 by web forum

First off, I want to thank the oldtimers and talented men and women in this group for all their contributions through the years, and now, their efforts to get us to a new group platform. I’ve been with this group since 2011 but consider myself still a newbie in contrast to the contributions the pioneers and the real experts here have made.

Now my question is - do you have a recommendation for a USB Wi-Fi dongle that is generally known to work on the DKC-800 (I have an E3 piano)?

I’ve moved my piano to our other home and there is no nearby accessible Cat5e network outlet to connect an ethernet cable from into the DK system The network switch and router are just too far away to run a cable from. However, the Wi-Fi signal near the piano is strong (802.11ac, n, g).

Thank you!

another possibility might be to use a converter that sends network data over the powerline. i do not know for a fact that they are fast enough but i use them on several other devices such as printers. i have used the ones made by tplink.
