Disklavier

I have just received the 3.5disk that goes along with my regular CD 
album. Celine Dion, Mile Davis, Frank Sinatra, and America History.

I am very please with the result, this new Mark III option could go a 
very long way.  e just need Yamaha and its affiliate to produce more 
great sounding album and arrangement.  I would like to be able to see 
some of Oscar Peterson, André Gagnon, and some other great pianist.

I have not yet had a chacne to adjust the pitch but the album of Mile 
Davis at the beginning you can hear the piano from the CD album and 
my Yamaha piano being off a bit, it does sound "iffy", need to read 
the manual to get them to play on the same harmony.

But overall if you my friend have not yet try this feature it is 
a "regal" to the ear.

Enjoy your piano, it is the cold season, for us, here in Canada, 
light up the fireplace, open a bottle of wine and listen to your 
favorite artist and the sound of your piano.

Be advised that there is a software update available from Yamaha for
the Mk III that may improve that pitch difference just a bit. Make
sure you have applied the update (follow the directions exactly - it
works just fine) before worrying further about the slight difference.

I have a Yamaha Clavinova CVP-98. Should I be in a
different group or is the disklavier group OK for me?
I can play MIDI files and even some disklavier files
on my Clavinova.
Please advise.
