Disklavier

Hello everyone!

I'm new to you all and very glad to have found this wonderful group.  I have a 
new DC3A coming in about 2 weeks but wonder if it's worth it to get the PRO 
version?  I understand the PRO version records with more accuracy...but just 
how big is the difference?  Is it worth the extra 20% add on?

Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chuck,
I have had my DC3Pro for about 3 years now.  I don't know what the major 
differences are, but I do know I'm glad that I went with the pro.  I have 
monitored the group since I got my pro and have heard many problems over the 
years with all different disklaviers.  Many of them related to the volume 
when playing midi's from the net.  I have never experienced any of these 
problems.  I'm not a concert pianist but my best friend is. He is trained 
classical concert pianist at has a DC3.  He loves to play my pro.  We have 
recorded him playing mine and he is amazed as the accuracy and clarity that 
the pro records with.  He is planning to trade his for a Pro model sometime 
this year.  Hope this helps.
