The pro features are way worth it.  Difference is like night and day.  
XP format is 16-bit accuracy instead of 8-bit midi.  This is 65535 vs. 
256 levels.  Plus there is a second processor that is devoted to pedal 
data.  Makes a huge difference for continuous pedal information.  So if 
you are recording, you'll be very happy with the Pro.

Having heard both, I agree, there is a big difference in the Pro
technology. The difference in playback accuracy is not subtle.

The technical specs are slightly different from what Dave quoted, though.
The Pro's hardware supports recording and playback with 10-bit accuracy
(1024 levels) vs. 7-bit (128 levels) for the non-Pro units.

These are what the hardware supports; in practice, the playback accuracy
of the Pro is supposedly somewhere around 8-9 bits due to mechanical
limitations.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
