Somewhere in the manual should explain the MIDI set up. Make sure kybd is
set to out. You can turn this feature on or off. Also, in the software you
are using on your computer, make sure the MIDI set up has the MIDI IN coming
from the Disklavier.

The Disklavier has 2 basic MIDI Out settings. One setting, called Ensemble
Out (or Delay Out on old models) sends the MIDI data out from the floppy disk
when you play a song file. The other setting is called Keyboard Out, and it
sends out the MIDI data when you play on the keys.
