Thank you, appreciate the feedback.    Yes, a lot of work, but 
goes back 14 years when I dreamed of and wished for a method of 
capturing the content of music rolls before they self-
destructed.    It has come to pass.

BTW, I noticed a few people inquiring about classical midi files 
for the piano off the 'Net.    My web site has a large number of 
classical performances on piano rolls, many played by the 
legendary masters.   They can be accessed off my web site:

Alright,  now how is this possible,  for five years now I have been on this
list and five years (maybe even six years) on the taxi list and now I find
out that the famous Terry is on both lists.  It is a small small world.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
