Re: Batch 6 of Midi Files Uploaded

Re: Batch 6 of Midi Files Uploaded

2003-08-29 by Terry Smythe

Just a brief note to let all know that my 6th batch of midi
files emerging my roll scaning efforts have been uploaded.
This batch has within it 334 titles, with the whole lot summing
to 1008 titles.

As before, these midi files are provided for personal enjoyment.
They may not be used for commercial purposes.

This will be my last batch for awhile. I'm taking a rest.

Also as before, the documentation for such a large volume of
files became to huge that I am providing only a title list by
file name in catalog number sequence. That is the sequence in
which they sort out on my hard drive. These 334 titles are
contained within 3 ZIP files of 1.9, 1.8, and 1.2 megs each.
They may be accessed by clicking on:

http://members.shaw.ca/smythe/library.htm

Enjoy.

Regards,

Terry

Just a note of thanks for taking the time for this labor of love. There are some real gems in these collections. This is exactly the type of thing I wanted to hear on my disklavier, and I'm enjoying them immensely.

For sale on the group?

2003-09-03 by Jim Hendershot

OK, I have a DKV I am selling, and am wondering if it is OK to put the info
out via this group? I can't say that I have seen any sale items go by (at
least for a while) and I don't want to violate group protocol or be
un-mannerly.

Is it OK to post a sale of a DKV here or not?

Thanks!

Best Regards,
Jim Hendershot

It's OK to post a sale here but provide a private email for those who
have an interest and wish to reply. That way it's only one posting that
the entire group receives. Most people say they get more action on Ebay
than here when selling disklaviers. Maybe that's because most of us
already have a disklavier. On the other hand, it could be because we
have 1,000 members vs. the 14 billion people who use Ebay.

Great! Knowing that e-bay might be better, I'll still post my DKV here for
starters...

For sale: Polished ebony Mark II Disklavier. Model DG3FII, 6 foot
grand. In absolutely perfect condition, comes with MU50 tone generator for
ensemble playing, and has Dampp Chaser installed to control piano
humidity. It has been kept in a climate controlled room all of it's life,
and is a joy to play. I am the original owner, and have cared for this
instrument as lovingly as possible. The control unit is currently remoted
via a custom extension cable, which will be included in the package.

Looking to sell at $14,500.00 (other offers considered). The piano is
located in Grants Pass, Oregon.

For more information, or to discuss purchase, contact me via
e-mail: jim@...

Thanks for reading!

Best Regards,
Jim Hendershot
