DO NOT REPLY TO GROUP MESSAGES TO ASK FOR THE BETA. ANNOYING 1,100 PEOPLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH ONE IS REALLY STUPID. I've had an unusually large number of people unsubscribe since this started and it's not hard to figure out why. My "delete button" took care of the unnecessary mails in no time. (That's also the benefit of a high bandwidth connection, I must admit...) I just wanted to point out that for the last few weeks, the sudden rise of activity of this group has been a pleasure and happy news. It's good to know that I am not (that we are not) alone wondering how to do this and that with that piano of ours... I must also point out that the "wise ones" in the group respond with such kindness and care when asked newbies questions. Som\ufffdetimes I think : why don't they simply refer them to the group's archives ? I know why : It's because they care. Thanks to them. I hope that soon I'll be wise enough to take care of those legitimate but repetitive questions - and let the wise ones answer my (a little bit more sophisticated) questions - (Smartkey's sysex codes, for one !) And does anybody know if the DKV (my DU1A, updated Mark III ) can play -as the docs seems to say- other pianosoft standard cds (like pianomation, pianodisk and the like -the ones that transform midi files into "right channel audio" on CD and let the left channel play some real audio track on both channels, a system obviously more satisfying than the midi violins or woodwinds on my sound card... ).
