I am sorry that people went away for that reason. My "delete button" 
took care of the unnecessary mails in no time. (That's also the benefit 
of a high bandwidth connection, I must admit...)
I just wanted to point  out that for the last few weeks, the sudden rise 
of activity of this group has been a pleasure and  happy news.  It's 
good to know that I am not (that we are not) alone wondering how to do 
this and that with that  piano of ours... 
I must also point out that the "wise ones" in the group respond with 
such kindness and care  when asked newbies questions. Som\ufffdetimes I think 
: why don't they simply refer them to the group's archives ?

I know why : It's because they care.

Thanks  to them. I hope that soon  I'll be wise enough to take care of 
those legitimate but repetitive questions  - and let the wise ones 
answer my (a little bit more sophisticated)  questions -  (Smartkey's 
sysex codes, for one !)

And does anybody know if the DKV (my DU1A, updated Mark III ) can play 
-as the docs seems to say- other pianosoft standard cds (like 
pianomation, pianodisk and the like -the ones that transform midi files 
into "right channel audio" on CD and let the left channel play some real 
audio track on both channels, a system obviously more satisfying than 
the midi violins or woodwinds on my sound card...  ).
