I want to upgrade my DKV Series II MPX100XG to play Smart Pianosoft disks. I
understand from Carol's site that as I have a DKC500RW control unit, I just
need a DCD1. I just telephoned Yamaha UK and was told that the DCD1 has been
discontinued in the UK and to add insult to injury told me that they had
been selling them for £200 which is half price. They told me that their
might be some left in retail outlets.

Therefore, does anybody out there know of any retail outlets that might have
one in the UK or wider Europe.

I think Chappel of Bond Street might have some; when I bought my MPX1Z
earlier in the year from them they said they had bought the remaining
stock of the MarkIIXG's and DCD1s, and I'm sure they had more DCD1's than
pianos at the time. Might be worth giving them a ring.
