Midi Files to Piansoft( *.FIL )

Midi Files to Piansoft( *.FIL )

2003-12-13 by johnsilver1555

Hi,

Help Needed. My computer crashed and have reformatted my hard disk
All files, utilities and instruction on how to convert midi files to
ESEQ to midi etc... all lost.

I have downloaded ( DKVUTILS.zip ) the file convertion utilities,
from midi to eseq to midi, but do not know the procedure. Can
someone, please show me the way stepping through from DKVUTILS to
conversion to *.FIL files.

I have also read from previously, a member have kindly uploaded a
utility which can play pianosoft files ( *.fil files ) directly
through the computer without having to play on the disklavier.

Thank you all.

First of all, copy any files you want converted to a different folder.
Always keep your original files somewhere safely backed up on floppies of
CDs. The conversion program asks you to drop the file you want to convert
into the window. You just point to the folder where the file is and drag
and drop. You also have to do one file at a time!

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
