Disklavier

Hi - I have an opportunity to purchase either a new DC5A or a barely used
DC3PRO for approximately the same price.

I understand the size difference between the models.

Can someone help me determine the primary differences between models and
maybe give me some insight into which model will be better for me. My dealer
gave me an explanation, but I would like to hear the group's opinion.

I am a recording artist and plan on using the disklavier to record my
performances - I will never buy pre-recorded CDs. Accuracy in piano
recording and reproduction are more important to me than built-in speakers.
I will use the silent feature, as well as midi in and out. I may release my
work as Disklavier CDs (with audio from major recording artists that I work
with) - but it's my understanding that I can always add a CD reader to the
DC3PRO???

How much "worse" is a DC5A action than a DC3PRO? In what ways? Pedals?

Of course, the size of the C5 has to sound slightly better than the C3 - but
are the PRO electronics worth giving up the extra size?

If you are a recording artist - BUY THE PRO.  The recording 
capabilities (which you can find MANY threads on) are significantly 
better.  The difference in the pianos (C3 vs. C5) is not that much...

The PRO was designed for people like you. It generates
a lot more data, hence better reproduction of your
piano playing.  The piano action is the same.
