2002 Piano e-Competition SYSEX Question

2002 Piano e-Competition SYSEX Question

2004-02-16 by rrl_edm

With all the recent interest in the 2004 Piano e-Competition files,
I was reminded about a question I never posed about the 2002 Piano
e-Competition files.

In addition to the usual "GM System On" (F0 7E 7F 09 01 F7)
and "XG System On" (F0 43 10 4C 00 00 7E 00 F7 ) SYSEX
messages, the 2002 Piano e-Competition files also include the
following SYSEX message:  F0 43 71 7E 0A 00 F7

Anyone know what this SYSEX message does? I can't find any
reference to it in my Yamaha SYSEX info.

Regards,

Robert

Hi

Sorry I have no idea. You may have to find out what keyboard / piano
uses FO 43 71. What you could do is change the 00 to 127 ie 00=OFF
127=ON ?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
