Carol,
I think you have lost the main program in yamplayer zip files.
All that's left is the 3 additional files. Pls. check. Thanks.

I replaced the program for the YamPlayer again just now
and everything seems to be working. It seems that the
file on the website was corrupted. I just tested it on
my computer running Windows 98 SE and it works just
fine. I downloaded the zipped file from the webpage
and unzipped it to a folder on my desktop. There are
only 4 files. I clicked on the program icon and it
worked perfectly. I used it with .fil files from my
hard drive and it was just wonderful! Let me know if
there is further trouble. Thanks.

I just got it to work again. You are using Windows
2000? Maybe it is the same problem some people had
with the e-competition files - some could unzip and
others not. Try downloading another copy of Winzip. I
must admit that I saw that same error too and thought
my file on the server was corrupted. I renamed it and
have had no further trouble. Perhaps Midi Magic might
be so kind as to directly email a copy to you and see
if that works. If anyone else is having the same
problem, I could use some advice on how to fix it!!

Allan,

Make sure you have extracted all 4 files to the same location before
attempting to run the program. If you click on the EXE file from within
the unzipping utility's window, only Yamplayr1_03.exe is temporarily
extracted to a temporary directory, where it'd be missing the DLLs.

Hi Allan

haven't receive any reply yet.

That is because Midi Magic is in the UK and was in bed !!!!!!!!

Thanks Carol for sorting Allan out.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
