Choice of Music

2004-02-26 by stephen

hi there every one and greetings from U.K!
I would like to ask do you all feel the same about the output from
Yamaha music wise? I have a upright 100MX with added DSR1 and DCD1 so
I can play all formats. The real pain of my life is buying Music, I
find most of the tracks from Japan have been badly played....either
far to slow or arrangements that I would find in a piano lesson
book ...simple and boring! Yet I am the first person to sing the
praises of these instruments...they are really fine and the software
does not do it justice to these pianos. Saying that I find the Sue
Down discs very good, as well as the Ralph Sutton, Teddy Wilson,Kevin
Cole.On to the cd range and I am really find that there are really
good i.e songs from broadway,Sue Downs, and the opera ones but why,
oh why when "we have moved on" to recording live instruments on cd we
get "Naff" backings from electric keyboards ......they never will
sound like strings etc? its very annoying as you cant hear the
recordings before you buy(and I would not of certainly bought 30% of
them!) SO YAMAHA RECORD GOOD QUALITY STUFF! A) It would show off the
piano to your advantage B) Make me part, with more of my money onyour
good's, like I'm sure alot of other people would! That ends my moan
for today! Kind Regards Stephen Bennett
