My poor old Disklavier needs help!

Hello All,

This is my first post so bear with me please...

I have an older (1989ish) Disklavier, model DG1R with a DKW10 (wagon) 
controller.  When I power up the controller just the number "8" 
appears in the song/track# display.  

Can anyone help me determine what is going on?  My tuner/tech has 
moved on to greener pastures and he was the chief problem solver.  I 
think he also still has the manuals.

Anyone have any ideas?

The normal order of attack on these problems is:

--your Disklavier technician
--your local Yamaha dealer
--Yamaha Piano Service

If the first 2 options are not available, call Yamaha Piano Service: (800) 854-1569 between 8:30-5:00 PST. Push 2 at the first menu choice and 2 at the second menu choice.

It sounds like there is a problem with your control unit.

I'll give them a call on Monday.  

I was just hoping that someone might recognize that
error message and give me a clue as to what might be
going on with it.   

Does anyone remember the button sequence to follow to
return this model (DKW10) to the factory presets?
