Budget Digital Piano: should I...?
2006-06-15 by Eli
I know Yamaha makes the world's best digital pianos (I've got one myself, and it costed me a small fortune), but I urgently need a PORTABLE piano and this could be a good deal: Casio CDP100 at $480 USD It's a 88 note potable stage piano with weighted action, I actually went to the store and played it today. Sound and feel was impressive at first, but on closer inspection, it's inferior to the Yamaha Clavinovas (over sensitive weighted action) However, the price seems affordable (it's actually a little over my budget), comes with pedal and it's portable. I've only seen entry- level Yamahas for almost twice the price. Let me know what you guys think, Eli
