Yes, I have added pictures to my I/O center ... do you have a tablet for your Mark IV?
I did it wirelessly. I have a Mac with wireless airport network.
Look for a network called "DVK##### " and then a folder called "picture folder"
Note: When connecting allow 10 minutes or so for the DSK ##### (where ##### are
numbers) to show up as the network to connect to and then the "Picture Folder" should
appear on the Macintosh desktop and drag jpeg files into it.
The ability to wirelessly download upgrades to the system of the Mark IV is future
development as well. Currently the wireless network is there, for jpeg transfer, but the
folders that contain system and midis are protected now to prevent people accidently
erasing info. They will set up some sort of temp folder to transfer the midis bought online
and password to add these to your hard drive ..... The disklavier has an underlying Linux
system computer onboard.
I was told by technical help at Yamaha that this is the only thing you can put on the hard
drive as they don't want anyone messing up the system, so you don't have access to
transferring midi files as yet.
I originally was going to try to use the cable to cable connection using a cross-over
ethernet cable, but it does not work and the technician verified that was true. It is much
easier to go wireless than hook up cables anyway.
Hope this helps
