Boy I sure hope not ... I just bought that exact same piano a week
ago. From what I was told, but no telling if this is accurate, for
the 'forseeable' future the plan is to keep updating the Mark IV.
They told me, for example, that Yamaha previewed the next release
(software upgradable for existing owners) which had features like
enabling a piano instructor at one location to play and have the
keyboard at another location play the exact same thing live. Not sure
how that would work unless it was over the Internet (as the piano is
wi-fi I'm hoping for a lot of Internet capability in the future - at
the moment I can't even access it over my network). Let me/us know if
you hear anything else regarding future plans/upgrades!
