Which Model Disklavier?

Which Model Disklavier?

2007-03-17 by rphguy2003

Thanks to all that posted answers to my question about which model I
own. I have often wondered if I could attach my laptop to my piano as
I always read about here in the postings. I've never even downlaoded
any files from the group because I wasn't sure how to do it. If I could
use my laptop or not or did I have to use disks. How to connect the
laptop to the piano and then would it just play music or would the keys
actually move also. What software would I need to accomplish this. All
of these questions were answered so now I'm going to start really
beginning to enjoy this baby thats basically been sitting in my living
room for the past 10 or so years, kinda quiet most of the time. Thanks
again to all, Ray

You can find USB->Midi converters at just about any music store these
days as well as on
line from places like www.musiciansfriend.com. There is software
linked off Carol's
web page www.carolrpt.com. I use the Van Basco Karaoke player
mentioned there.

Yes, the keys move just like they do when you play from the floppy disk.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
