Converting CD's to midi files for Disklavier

Converting CD's to midi files for Disklavier

2007-12-18 by dogfart64

Has anyone had any success converting piano CD's to Midi files that
play on your Disklavier? I've found serveral programs on the web that
claim to do this, but I'm not sure how good they are.

Forget about it. You won't have any success, unless you are happy with
a one-finger performance. The only company that has succeeded is Zenph
Studios, and they are definitely not making their software available
for download.

If you find one that works let me know.
I have tried the test version of a few with no luck.
I wonder how all the midi web sites got their files.
Were they converted from MP3 or Wav files or originally produced as
midi's?

Here are some good ones though.
