DGC1M4 demo and Disklavier features?

DGC1M4 demo and Disklavier features?

2007-12-30 by MichaelFirst Name Boyd

I would appreciate your thoughts on a fair price for a 2007 demo DGC1M4. I am below $25K but wanted your input. Also, what features do you enjoy the most, now that you have spent time with your piano? Disklavier Radio, (PS Solo, Audio, Plus, Smart) or SmartKey? Any unique ways to use video?

I am new and really appreciate any help.

Please disregard price request info. Sorry. I would appreciate any
input on 'your favorite features of M4'. Thanks again.

I love the Disklavier Radio and worth the $20 a month fee to have the piano playing via wifi
connection.

I also love the overall quality of sound that comes from my MK IV. I have had a pianodisc
system in the past (one of the earlier models on a Yen Chang grand piano) and the quality
of the Yamaha far exceeds that piano and system I had before.

I prefer only piano solos, but have found that the pianosoft midis with extra accompaniments for jazz songs are also great to listen too.

I also like the feature of taking midis that I find on the internet and being able to transfer
them directly to the Mark IV wirelessly using the TO/FROM PC option. This is so much
easier than the previous method of transferring midi files to a floppy and then having to
load in via floppy drive on the Mark IV.

There is not much I don't like about my Mark IV, except for the lack of search function and
the short battery time when using the pda device.

Hope this helps,
Joan
