usb to midi hardware

I am looking for a midi output device that I can plug into a USB port. I

I have been running from the game port on my pc which recently
crashed. I now have both a pc and a mac.

I use VanBasco's juke box software.

Thanks in advance for your typically good advice.

Ebay "USB TO MIDI CONVERTER" about 16 bucks. Mine has midi plugs on
one end and usb on the other with an egg shaped blob in the middle with
activity lights. works like a champ.

As I don't know your piano and computer's physical layout, I don't
know if this is of help but there are now wireless USB to midi
interface units from a small number of companies. Depending on
quality/distance these go from around $150 to $400. I do not yet have
"hands on" experience with these.

Considering the noisy nature of computers, it might be good to be able
to have the computer in the next room.

BTW: I'm new to Yahoo Groups. When I see the posts of others, I do not
see their e-mail addresses. When I see my own posts, I do see my
address. Do others see mine? If so, how do I hide this? My concern is
not with members, its spam-bots collecting addresses.

Re: [disklavier] usb to midi hardware

The Yamaha UX16 MIDI interface ($39) works well with Disklaviers. It has
the necessary MIDI cables already attached. MAKE SURE that you connect the
MIDI IN to MIDI OUT, and MIDI OUT to MIDI In or it will not work.
