Smart Pianosoft unsynchronized

Smart Pianosoft unsynchronized

2008-06-19 by brijagarwal

Has anyone noticed that the piano music that you buy and play along
with your own separate CD is sometimes in a very subtle way slightly
unsynchronized with the rest of the CD? I have a Mark IV, and it seems
to me that on some works the piano playing is well done and on other
works it is sort of unlistenable (like the pianist would be canned that
night if he were on stage with the band of the CD). I'm super new to
Disklavier, so I don't have a broad range of experience with it. Does
anyone else notice this?

Each SmartPianoSoft floppy is made to go with a "specific" CD and that CD is
listed by its serial number. For instance, the Fiddler on the Roof floppy
goes with a certain Broadway version CD and not the movie version. You need
to make sure you are using the correct CD version. Also, it is important to
have your piano tuned to A440.

Is this one DCD1 compatible? More generally, is there a current list of DCD1 compatible Smart Pianosoft Discs?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
