Hello Newbie here

Hello Newbie here

2008-08-07 by yamvet

My name is Keith and I recently purchased my wife a new Mark IV and she
loves it! I am wondering if anyone has had any success with recording
voice (lyrics)? I am not very Music savy, she is however. Her music
knowledge and my computer skills tend to help each other out. I am
trying to get some info to help her get her songs recorded.

thanks
Yamvet

Congtrats! And Welcome!

If you are talking about recording voice at the same time as playing the piano directly onto the piano's storage (as opposed to using external recording equipment) you will need version 3.0 of the Disklavier software which is due out any day now (I would guess).

I'm assuming that you have version 2.10, and aren't part of the 3.0 beta.
