How did you get the Mark IV V3.0 s/w so quickly?

In the link to get the free update by completing the survey, it also
said you could get it from your local dealer. So, I called on
Saturday, and my dealer allowed me to borrow the copy he received just
that day in the mail. I returned the copy to him Monday.

If you complete the survey, it states that it may take 7 - 10 days in
the mail to receive the update packet.

Hello all. I never got any email or snail mail that told me an update
was available. I knew it was coming but never got any notification.
How did you find out about it (other than this forum)? What is the URL
to request the update? Thanks.

Non U.S. customers and version 3.0

2008-08-20 by Bill Brandom

Hello all,

We have received several comments from non U.S. customers saying they were unable to get the update in their country. I am not sure how markets other than the U.S. plan to release version 3.0.

For those of you that cannot get the update from Yamaha in your area, I have placed a folder up on our ftp site that will give you all of the files that make up the update. This includes the iso file to make the CD and PDF files that cover the update manuals.

Feel free to download the folder to your hard drives and create your on update pack.

The ftp site is:
ftp://216.154.248.26/
user: disklavier
password: disklavier

The folder is titled:

MARK IV VERSION 3.0 build 1

I hope this helps.

OK, I 'cheated' (I AM a U.S. customer) and used this download.
Upgrade successful! Haven't had a chance to try out the new
features, but so far I like what it. Thanks Yamaha!

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
