Disklavier

Can some one help me with this problem. I just received the 3.0 update 
for my mk4 and so I was going to make a backup to a hard drive for the 
first time. I followed instructions and hooked up a fat 32 hard drive 
to the usb port in the media center and when I got to the menu that 
says back up song files, I hit that and an error message comes up and 
says "file handle process is running" and it will not do a back up. Any 
ideas and thanks

This is a longshot, but I've seen this error before when trying to do something while the piano was currently playing a song, or copying a song, or doing some other operation at the file system level.  Was the piano playing, or just starting up, or anything along those lines when you started the backup?  Was the drive that you connected empty?  If not, the piano might have been busy scanning the contents of that drive (this is the likely situation, now that I think of it...).  You might just have to wait a little while for it to finish that process...

I haven't made a backup with the current 3.0 Version of System for
Mark IV, but I do recall making one with the 2.0 Version.  It seems
that we had to reboot the disklavier prior to making the backup, in
order that the hard drive we attached be recognized.  Did you try that?
