Virtual PRC

Virtual PRC

2008-11-09 by dmacphee2001

I am a using the virtual PRC on my disklavier. It stopped working when
I had to replace my router (Linksys) with an upgraded model. I have
opened up the security on the router but to no avail.

Any ideas?

Have you tried rebooting your internet connection (i.e. modem)?

Have you tried rebooting the disklavier as well?

Have you tried deleting that virtual prc software from your computer
and reinstalling the software. It seems that there is a sequence of
steps that picks up an IP address and this has probably not been changed.

Hope this helps.

Also, confirm that your computer can see the piano on the network.

Can you see the shared folders that the piano makes available? (I suppose that you can since that is the "documented" way to run the virtual PRC)
