How do I enter text on my PRC-100?

I think I've tried tapping on nearly everything on the screen, but no virtual keyboard pops up.

I've checked and I have the latest version of s/w (I can listen to Yamaharadio and my piano 
plays).  Here's what's installed:

Embedix Plus PDA v 2.0
Opera Browser v 6.0
Insignia Jeode Java v PDA edition
Qtopia for Embedix Plus PDA v 1.5.4
Linux Kernel v 24. 18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix
ROM v 1.20

At some point I think this worked, but that was 2 weeks ago when I first set it up.  Appreciate 
your help on this one..

The PRC-100 has a real (not virtual keyboard) that is accessible by  
sliding out the lower section on the PRC-100 to reveal the keyboard.  
Once you have the keyboard revealed, then use the stylus to tap in the  
window of the PRC-100 and if text can be entered at that position in  
the window, you will have a flashing cursor, and you can type in the  
text on the small keyboard on the PRC-100.

If you are referring to editing song titles via the Virtual PRC 100
interface (i.e. software) ... on your computer screen:

Go to the song that you want to edit (i.e, title of song).  Click on
the song.

You will see the screen where the album title and song title are
displayed and the progress bar.

Click on 'Previous' button (i.e, left virtual arrow) twice, you should
see the 'Song Title', rate and Comment.  If you click on the song
title, it will bring up a text edit box for you to edit the title of
the song.

Not sure if you were referring to the actual PRC that came with your
piano or the virtual prc software you use on your computer to access
via wifi.
