Changing sounds in performance mode

Changing sounds in performance mode

2009-06-02 by cwestmont

First post to the group - greetings!
I have a Mark IV, with a question about the performance mode. It appears it can only access a limited number of pads and synths in performance mode, but there is a much richer set of instruments available to MIDI. How do i access the deeper set of instruments through performance mode?

Thanks for any advice.

It can't be done...not unless Yamaha makes it available in a future software release.

I have heard of a "workaround", but I do not know the details. (I think it involves going into recording mode, or something like that)
