Disklavier

DKC850 Disklavier Control Unit

Any ideas on how this unit will interface to the older MX100A model? If it goes in through the midi port we will still need the floppy drive to be functioning properly and grinding away.

From the info I have seen, the DKC850 might go via MIDI, but it has a CD drive and it's own outputs, so you can use PianoSoft plus Audio. If it is a direct replacement for the old DKC,(which would explain why it doesn't work with the MK I or straight (non-XG) MK II Disklaviers), you'll have CD and you can hook up a USB floppy drive to use your old software on floppy disk - or transfer your floppies to a USB stick.
