New to Disklavier

2011-11-30 by Will

Hi All,

we finally did it. We purchased a new piano with a Mark IV Disklavier. Its being delivered in a few days. I know it comes with a few sample disks, but I was looking for some direction from the group on how to build a music library without busting the bank. Are there any cost effective ways of acquiring music? Thanks to all in advance.

Eli

Hello Eli and welcome to the group. You are in for a major treat with the Mark IV! If you act quickly you might still be able to order from discountpianosoftware.com at 60% off before the store sadly closes. Still a lot of selection (I just ordered 6 titles Monday).

Search through the archives on here to find other suggestions from users here on their experiences with other providers, free midi files, and more. Also check out the "files" section of this site to see what users have posted here.

Enjoy :-)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
