Converting evt Files

Converting evt Files

2012-10-26 by Joseph

I have a diskette with evt files would like to convert them to midi and play them on my E3 system. Is that possible?

Do they not play directly? My understanding is that .EVT files are
actually ESEQ files, so they ought to "just work". Try renaming them to
have the extension .FIL.

If that doesn't work, try ESEQ2MID.EXE available at
http://www.midiplayertools.com/musicsoftware.htm

Thanks Mark,

They did not play directly, but work fine after I changed the ext to
.FIL.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
