Dotcomformat

Hi Morb!

I normally get my internet fix about modular synths on Muffwiggler.

Roger did join Muffwiggler a few years ago and was fairly active at first.  I haven’t seen a post from him there in a long, long time.

I guess facebook keeps him busy.

Staying on topic for this list...there has certainly been an explosion of dotcom format modules over the past several years.  I have modules from Moon, STG, COTK, Analog Craftsman, Grove, Krisp1/Oakley, Happy Nerding, MegaOhm, Re:Synthesis, SSL and a couple more that I can’t remember in my Dotcom modular.  Roger has truly created an industry standard.

I'm still here, too... monitoring... but there just doesn't seem to be any activity on the yahoo group.
I also monitor the Facebook group (despite my better judgement)(I blame excessive sobriety on my part)... but it (the group) lacks cohesion (among other things) I think, due to the absence of the 'old school' crowd (who feel as you do about facebook)... therefore, the group seems to be populated with millennials, who seem to be lost in an analog world. Funny thing- not only are they lost as to 'how' to do analog things... they don't seem to possess the 'whys'... (if ya can't do it with an app, then just move on to a gaming environment and be done with it).
Anyway- that's how I see it... sober or not.

Wow, Facebook sure killed this place. First new post since 2015!

I still have my DotCom. And it still works.
